Lakefront Cabin. Deer. Turkey. Ducks. Timber.
Welcome to the Madison 148. Whether you want a hunting camp or a secluded private estate, you'll be able to enjoy hunting and fishing on this deer and turkey paradise. Only thirty minutes from I-55's Nissan Parkway in Canton, you'll be ready to relax and enjoy as soon as you pull through the property gates. The road system has been expanded and widened, a new levee on the lake has been built and a drain installed, and new food plots have been made and planted.
Once pull through the gates, you'll follow a quarter mile drive to the newly constructed lakefront cabin with a full wrap-around porch overlooking the lake. The cabin has electricity, a new water well, a new septic tank, and a new central HVAC system to be move-in ready. With 1800 square feet of living space, it has four bedrooms and two full baths with all wood ceilings and walls and not an inch of sheetrock in sight. Two of the bedrooms have built-in bunk beds, with each room sleeping four people. The other two rooms are empty for new owners to have the option of adding more bunks or to use as main bedrooms instead. The mud room has room for the washer and dryer and has convenient built-in lockers for hunting gear.
The open den and kitchen features a large island with bar sink, a vaulted ceiling, and a corner stone wood-burning fireplace. There's plenty of wall space to hang your trophies, and you'll enjoy the cooler months sitting around a roaring fire with beautiful lakefront views. There are two sets of french doors that open to the 10-foot wrap-around porch, making a total of 3600 square feet under roof. Loads of crushed asphalt has just been installed around the cabin to upgrade the parking.
The cabin sits on a gorgeous ten-acre lake, but it has potential to be even larger. There are beaver dams to the east that break it up into several smaller lakes. The entire body of water is about twenty acres providing a great water source for all kinds of wildlife. Enjoy fishing and boating all year round along with the added appeal for waterfowl and occasional duck hunting. Buy it now and enjoy hunting and fishing for years to come.
Directions: From I-55, take the Canton exit east onto Hwy 22. Then go north onto Old Sharon Road (Hwy 43) . In about 17 1/2 miles, turn right onto Beaverdam Road. In one mile, the gate to the camp will be on the right.
